Starting from Mar. 16th, NT$200 Full-fare Tickets and NT$100 Half-fare Tickets are Needed to Enter Zhuilu Old Trail of Taroko National Park Please Prepare your Park Entry and Mountain Entry Permits in Advance
The Zhuilu Old Trail that stretches across the top of Zhuilu Cliff of Taroko Gorge will charge visitors an admission fee starting from Mar. 16th, 2017. Visitors have to complete the park entry and mountain entry application in advance and pay the entry fee on the day of arrival before entering Zhuilu Old Trail.
Taroko National Park Headquarters stated that, in order to further effectively utilize and monitor public resources and implement user charge principles, Taroko National Park Headquarters has stipulated an admission fee according to the Charges and Fees Act and was approved by the Executive Yuan. As for the admission fee, it will be NT$200 for full-fare tickets and NT$100 for half-fare tickets. Children between the age of 6 and 12 and students can purchase half-fare tickets. As for children under the age of 6 and people performing official operations, they can enter for free after having their identification documents examined at site. Local Taroko and Seediq aborigines do not have to file park entry application in advance and can enter after their identification documents are being examined at site.
