To promote conservation of natural resources, and encourage the public to better understand the wildflowers of the Yangmingshan area, the Yangmingshan National Park Headquarters has published the Guide to Wildflowers of Yangmingshan National Park guidebook series. The books are written in English and Chinese, catering to the needs of both domestic and foreign visitors. Aside from introducing the native wildflowers of the Yangmingshan area, the book also provides an easy-to-read flower calendar, and background knowledge to help readers better understand how the plants grow. The guide is also indexed by flower color, making it convenient for visitors to quickly identify flowers as they walk along the trails in the forest. This helps increase understanding of the precious natural resources of Yangmingshan.
