Classic Topic “Archeology Taiwan” Photography Exhibition Opens at the Taroko National Park Headquarters
The "Archeology Taiwan" photography exhibition is jointly organized by the Tzu Chi Foundation, Rhythms Monthly, and Taroko National Park Headquarters. The exhibition will be running from now until October 31 daily from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the Basement Special Exhibition Room of the Visitor Center at Taroko National Park Headquarters. The exhibition includes topics such as "Searching for the Earliest Humans in Taiwan", "Island Dwellers Navigating to the World", "Meeting between the First Residents and Han Chinese", and "Guarding the Cultural Assets of All People".
The Taroko National Park Headquarters said that the Tzu Chi Foundation hopes to guide the visitors on a journey through time and space with the photo exhibition, using the exploration and discoveries of major archaeological sites in Taiwan over the past two decades to help the public understand the deeper significance of prehistoric culture on Taiwanese society and its cultural development. Public concern and protection as well as expert conservation and research are required to transform these findings into historical and cultural “nutrients” that can nourish the land of Taiwan.
