The Taroko National Park Headquarters will be carrying out restoration work on the slope beneath the Chongde Trail Scenic Platform No. 2. For construction needs and to maintain the safety of the visitors, the scenic platform will be temporarily closed from 08:00 to 18:00, starting from February 3rd, 2020 to April 30th, 2020. However, Chongde Trail itself will remain open, visitors can still go along the trail and access the Scenic Platforms No. 1 and No. 3, as well as the public toilets. Visitors are requested to cooperate with the control measures.

The Taroko National Park Headquarters said that Chongde Trail is one of the locations where the view of Cingshuei Cliff can be admired. The beautiful scenery of Cingshuei Cliff and the Pacific Ocean can be enjoyed from Scenic Platform No. 1. In addition, Huide Trail is another top location to enjoy the stunning view of Cingshuei Cliff, visitors are recommended to also take a walk along the trail to admire the scenery.
