A New Way of Living for Epidemic Prevention at Taroko: "Crossing Over Central Cross-Island Highway's 60th Year" at Youth Camp for High School Students. Registration for Limited Spots Open on June 1

Since the 60th anniversary the Central Cross-Island Highway’s opening is in this year, the Taroko National Park Headquarters organized a youth camp specifically designed for high school students: "Crossing Over Central Cross-Island Highway's 60th Year”. This is the 12th year of the youth camp. The camp will go on for three days and two nights this year. Students will be guided to walk 28 kilometers on the Central Cross-Island Highway and stargaze and observe the night in mid-altitude mountains. Experienced guides from the National Park will bring students back in time and reveal the histories and legends of the Central Cross-Island Highway.

The event will take place from August 14 to August 16 (Friday to Sunday). There are 30 spots for students. Online registration will open at 10 AM on June 1 and end when all spots are taken. Students who participate from beginning to end will receive a learning certificate as a proof and reminder of this beautiful trip. It doesn't matter if you are a high school student, vocational student (first to third years of vocational school), graduating student, or a freshman who is about to enter your high school campus, you may sign up to participate in the event. Let Taroko Youth Camp leave an unforgettable chapter in your summer vacation!
