Marine National Park Headquarters Opens New Magong Visitor Center Exciting Events In Progress!

The Marine National Park Headquarters officially opened the Magong Visitor Center in March 2022, as to expand public services and deepen the exchange with public affairs groups concerned about the South Penghu Marine National Park. The Magong Visitor Center is located at No. 81, Xinming Road, Magong City, open from 08:30 to 17:30 on weekdays. Penghu residents and tourists are welcome to visit in person or call (06) 926-6829 for inquiries. It is hoped that the Visitor Center will provide local residents and tourists with an even better service environment, as well as act as a space for eco-education, recreation and transportation inquiries, and professional guided tours for the national park. The public will also get easier access to drone photography application and mail collection.

Starting from March, there will be 18 screening sessions of eco-documentaries of the WildView Taiwan Film Festival on a weekly basis, with small gifts available. On April 22, Earth Day, 8 VR films of the South Penghu Marine National Park will be premiered and an online quiz competition will be held. On June 8, National Oceans Day, there will be a maritime seminar. Everyone is invited to come learn about the ocean, love the ocean, understand the ocean, and protect the precious marine environment. Follow the Marine National Park Headquarters Facebook page to get the latest information about the events and activities!
