New Accessible Venue in National Parks: Wenshui Visitor Center, Shei-Pa National Park
To meet the needs of Taiwan's aged society and people with disabilities when it comes to outdoor activities and exploring the nature and culture of national parks, the Construction and Planning Agency (CPA) is committed to building a green and friendly environment therein. On January 6, 2022, the CPA announced that the Wenshui Visitor Center of Shei-Pa National Park has been set up as the 17th accessible recreational venue. Each of these accessible venues has its own unique features and, jointly, they provide about 14 kilometers of accessible trails, making them perfect locations for multigenerational trips.
The accessible recreational venue Wenshui Visitor Center is located in the Dahu area of Miaoli County, the best starting point to visit the Shei-Pa National Park when visiting the hometown of strawberries, Dahu. It offers an almost 1 km-long accessible trail which connects the various recreation sites in the Visitor Center, including the administration center, ecological lake, stores, and an outdoor activity plaza.
The Wenshui Visitor Center provides comprehensive information on the national parks, natural resource exhibits, and guided tour services. Welcome to experience the beauty of the four seasons and the friendly environment of Shei-Pa National Park.
