The “Aboriginal Waltz of Life - Guo Zhang-Cong Aboriginal Oil Painting Exhibition” Will Take Place from July 1, 2022 at the Taroko National Park Visitor Center
The Taroko National Park Headquarters has invited renowned Taiwanese artist Guo Zhang-Cong to co-organize the “Aboriginal Waltz of Life - Guo Zhang-Cong Aboriginal Oil Painting Exhibition” from July 1 to August 14, 2022, at the exhibition room of the Taroko National Park Visitor Center, displaying 23 pieces of artwork in the oil painting series of aboriginal people. The artist expresses the aboriginal culture of Taiwan and the passion and colors of life via oil painting on giant canvases, presenting cultural tension, as well as vivid facial expressions and traditional garments.
The Taroko National Park Headquarters stated that the works of the “Aboriginal Waltz of Life - Guo Zhang-Cong Aboriginal Oil Painting Exhibition” are based on the Taiwanese aboriginal people's optimistic, straightforward, and hard-working nature, their awe of nature and ancestral spirits, unique garments and craftsmanship, facial tattoos, ceremonial songs and dances, and resilient vitality. Those who love art are welcome to visit the exhibition, and all are invited to visit the Taroko National Park while appreciating the passion and culture expressed in Guo's oil painting series of aboriginal people.
