The Marine National Park Headquarters implemented a knowledge-based training course last year and organized one practical training session for land and sea areas respectively this year to implement hands-on training and seminars, so that guides could better understand the spirit of ecotourism and polish their explanation skills. The Marine National Park Headquarters successfully concluded the "Practical Training for the South Penghu Marine National Park Guides," and a total of 36 guides completed the course.

The Marine National Park Headquarters carefully selected the two ecotourism routes of Donji Island and Dongyuping Island for demonstration, and combined the cultural architecture, geological landscape, ecological observation, and hands-on activities of South Penghu Marine National Park to strengthen the explanation skills of local residents and villagers as well as to enhance the transformation capacity of traditional industries through actual itinerary explanation drills. The Marine National Park Headquarters stated that this year, the cultural experience of crossing the “Black Ditch” was incorporated by working with the Taijiang National Park to convey the history of our ancestors' arrival at Taiwan, in order to improve the guides' explanation skills and capacities.
