New Look for Xiaoguanyin Station No Reservation Needed for Visits

Xiaoguanyin Station was formerly a police post and has now reopened. The opening hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily (closed on the last Monday of each month and Lunar New Year's Eve). Visitors can access freely with no need for reservation. This service station at the highest point of the Yangjin Highway can also be used as a rest stop for mountaineers and cyclists to rest and refill their water supply.

Xiaoguanyin Station is about a half-minute walk from the Xiaoyoukeng Arrow Bamboo Trail and leads to the Xiaoyoukeng fumaroles, allowing visitors to experience the volcanic landscape at close range. In autumn, house swifts flutter around in the bamboo forests and Formosan ferret-badgers hide in their caves to prepare for their hunting activities at night, while silvergrass stalks shed their green outfit and spread out their flower spikes. Old trails and autumn silvergrass weave the most memorable scenery of the park. On a clear day, you can experience the magnificence of the sea and sky merging as one as you look out over the Jinshan plains. Let the sight heal your body and mind! Yangmingshan National Park cordially welcomes you!
