The Taijiang National Park Visitor Center is endowed with a rich ecosystem, as it lies next to the Yanshui River Estuary Wetlands and the Sicao Wetlands, wetlands of national and international importance, respectively. The Taijiang National Park Headquarters built a 2.2 km-long riverside green trail along the Beishanwei Waterway for visitors to experience the beauty of wetlands in different ways. The green trail begins at the Visitor Center and one can ride or walk north until the end of the trail. It is nearby the Sicao Fortress, Dazhong Temple, Green Tunnel, and other attractions.

Moreover, Tainan City Government has also assisted by installing YouBike rental spots close to the beginning point, the Visitor Center, and the ending point, Sicao Fortress. People can become acquainted with the rich wetlands ecosystem, cultural history, and salt fields culture of Taijiang National Park at their own leisurely pace.
