The National Nature Park Headquarters joined forces with the Taiwan Reforestation Association to organize the 2023 Taichung Metropolitan Park "Protecting Dadu Mountain" Campaign. 24 "Protecting Dadu Mountain" tree planting activities will be held at Taichung Metropolitan Park between March and June. A total of 3,811 tree seedlings of 76 native species have been planted in Dadu Mountain to date, with 2,250 participants from invitee organizations.

It is hoped that the participants from invitee agencies, schools, and businesses will help the wider public understand the ideas of ecological succession and biodiversity through explanations on tree planting. We should all do our part in Taiwan's ecological restoration. The goal is to meet the United Nations' 2030 Sustainable Development Goal 15 regarding terrestrial ecosystems through physical tree planting activities.
