National Park Service and Society of Wetland Scientists Co-Organize the SWS 2024 Annual Meeting Taipei, Call for Papers Open Now
The National Park Service and Society of Wetland Scientists (SWS) are co-organizing the SWS 2024 Annual Meeting and the call for papers is open now.
This year's SWS Annual Meeting will be held in Taipei, under the theme of "Wetlands and Global Change: Mitigation and Adaptation". It echoes the spirit of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Ramsar Convention. It brings together land planning and wetland conservation to protect the integrity of the ecology, environment, hydrology, and scenery of wetlands in the face of global climate change.
The SWS 2024 Annual Meeting Taipei is a rare celebration of Taiwan's wetlands, and we invite experts and scholars from various academic fields to participate in this event. We look forward to the participation of industry, government, and academia, which will lead to more sparks of innovation for sustainable development and the future.
