A New Journey in Conservation and Sustainable Development
Locals, such as residents, farmers, and indigenous people, live within boundaries of national parks, and are in fact a part of the national parks. On a global level, the trend of joint-management and co-prosperity has become the foundation for the sustainable development of national parks. Taking Yellowstone National Park in the United States as a starting point, we will probe into the ecological vision jointly established by Taiwan’s national parks and local residents. Moreover, by connecting with neighboring regions and countries, we will learn how to help national parks break through their boundaries and generate more energy through collaboration.
